About

Riri:

  • A loving wife to a wonderful man
  • An Indonesian who currently living in Singapore
  • I am an avid coffee drinker, a curious traveler, and a foodie
  • Working in Mental Health industry
  • I find that my most fulfilling cases and experiences are those that include trying to reach the most difficult kids. Those kids who have been abused, neglected, or traumatized and who do not feel they can trust anyone. My fulfillment comes when I see that child opening up and reaching back for me.
  • Having the experiences of start studying abroad when I was 12 and enter college in 16 have made me feel my own thoughts and my observations of the people and life be slightly different.
  • I am enormously fascinated by foreign languages. My curiosity of foreign languages may catch my attention from having to travel avidly since I was 5 years old. My parents always encourage me to visit family friends or to just go accompanying my grandparents around the world.
  • I studied Business, Architecture, and Psychology for my Bachelor degree before really pursuing my master and doctorate in applied Psychology.
  • My Passion for food was developed at the same time when I discovered my passion for traveling. My aunts are all foodies and they usually brought me along with them everywhere from eating in fine dining restaurant to hawker stall next to the gutter. I love to eat, cook and bake — dislike to follow the recipe to the “T”. I am pretty much a rebel when it comes to my food.
  • I am very much a visual learner and currently trying to expand my sensitivity towards the sound. I don’t really listen to lyric when I listening to a song, which I need to desperately need to engage. People think that me being a Psychologist, I may love to listen to people, actually no. It is my job and my profound connection of people are mostly through my observation of their behavior and cognitive mind.
  • I only give compliments when I really mean it. Random people may think that I am talkative but my closest person know I am on my best behavior when I’m quiet : )
  • “I’ve got your back!” probably one of many the most romantic thing I’ve heard

Didi:

Selamat membaca…
